The MAP 80, like the MAP 90, LM50, MK1 and MK3, is a heavy constant energy dynamic penetrometer, unlike the MS4.
The penetrometer test is the same in itself, and the test report is identical, except that it is a motor which lifts the load and allows the rod to be driven deeper with less physical effort for the operator.
This is why we talk about constant energy.

EVOLUTIONS of the MAP 80:
– Reduction of the height to fit inside a type H1 van (example: little van)
– Adjustment of the lateral verticality of the mast by hydraulic cylinder
– Folding and unfolding of the mast (lower and upper part) by hydraulic cylinder
– Improved safety by removing the locking key: operation of the complete threshing system on the mast provided by a hydraulic cylinder.
– Reduction in the width of the falling weight, more compact and more stable protective cage.
